Rosie Red Story Time & Card Making Workshop with Trisha Deery
Meet author and illustrator Trisha Deery, as she makes her first visit to the Riverbank arts centre! The day will start with a very special storytime session for younger children, where Trisha will introduce to her charming new character, Miss Rosie Red, as she tries to decide what to wear to her friend’s party. An Astronaut? A fairy? A dinosaur? Come along and join in the dressing-up fun! Later, Trisha will show budding artists some of the techniques she has developed in making her very own handmade greeting-cards. Do you know somebody with a birthday or another special event happening soon? This is your chance to make them a personalised card they’ll never forget!

Biog: Trisha Deery is an author/illustrator from Derry. Trisha is the creator of the Miss Rosie Red books, published by DogEars, the first of which was made into Ireland’s first interactive childrens book app. With a beautiful hand drawn charm her characters and stories hail from the city but hold an international appeal. She started up 'Deery me! Designs' in 2010 and
has been producing personalised greetings cards, prints and children's character stickers and posters for her ever growing fan base. Trisha has a passion for working with young minds and facilitates art and design workshops throughout Ireland.
