Creative Space for Ukraine/ «Креативний простір для України»
Creative Space for Ukraine is a creative programme for young Ukraine nationals who are currently based in Kildare. Riverbank Arts Centre and Fighting Words will present a series of six workshops on Monday evenings (starting in May 2022) at 6pm.
This workshop programme is designed for participants aged 18-25 and will be an opportunity to connect with each other and meet Irish (and Irish-based) writers, artists and creative practitioners. There is no requirement for participants to have experience in the arts, but we would like to support participants access a broad range of creative fields, so will listen to your needs and respond. The workshops will take place at Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge and as part of this programme there will be an opportunity to attend events, screenings and other activities at the arts centre for free.

«Креативний простір для України» — це творча програма для української молоді, що зараз проживає у графстві Кілдер.
Центр мистецтв Riverbank та благодійна організація Fighting Words презентують серію із шести креативних воркшопів.
Семінари проводитимуться у Центрі мистецтв Riverbank, Ньюбрідж, по понеділках о 18:00 (починаючи з травня 2022 року).
Програма семінару розроблена для молоді віком від 18 до 25 років, є безкоштовною та розрахована на 15 учасників (мати досвід у мистецтві необов’язково).
Творча програма дасть можливість об’єднатися один з одним, а також познайомитися з ірландськими письменниками, художниками та креативниками. Ми прагнемо надати учасникам доступ до широкого кола творчих сфер, тож прислуховуємося до потреб та відгукуємося.
В рамках цієї програми буде також можливість безкоштовно відвідувати заходи, покази та інші активності у центрі мистецтв.

Riverbank Arts Centre is the county arts centre based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, funded by The Arts Council and Kildare County Council. Riverbank Arts Centre works in partnership with international, national and local artists to deliver an accessible and consistently high quality arts programme in an intimate environment. We provide a multi-disciplinary programme which includes theatre, cinema, comedy, music, dance, workshops and visual arts.
Fighting Words provides free programmes and mentoring in creative writing and related arts to as many children, young adults and adults with additional needs as we can reach. The vision of Fighting Words is simple – to give children and young people (as well as adults who did not have the chance as children) the opportunity to discover and harness the power of their own imaginations and creative writing skills. Fighting Words is also about something much broader and more inclusive – using creative writing and storytelling to strengthen young people to be resilient, creative and successful shapers of their own lives.
