Welcome to Highly Strung’s Solstice Soiree. For fans of the foursome, this evening is a tradition not to be missed. The four friends are delighted to return to the Riverbank for their annual Christmas show of classics old and new. Hallmarking the spirit of the season for their audiences, the mellow blend of seasonal favourites casts a little starlight on the darkest time of the year. With an acoustic blend of voice (Angela O’Toole), flute (Jeanette Behan), violin (Lisa Lazenby) and harp (Mary Keenan), the ladies’ quirky arrangements continue to delight audiences of all ages.
The show, compèred by the incomparable Caroline Malone, will feature songs and stories of hope, peace and joy in a celebration of life as well as featuring a special guest or two.
