First Fortnight: Big Bobby. Little Bobby
Thursday 21st January, 2016 - 20:00
€12 – €15Fresh from a Highly Successful run at Tiger Dublin Fringe 2015 Big Bobby. Little Bobby is a twisted tender comedy that tells the story of Bobby. After a lifetime sharing a bed with Mammy, Bobby is finally taking charge and moving out.
But saying goodbye isn’t easy, especially with Little Bobby’s voice rattling around Bobby’s head.
Now alone in the silence of Granny’s old house, Bobby’s working on keeping her demons sweet, minding her inner baba and trying to deal with Mammy too.
Bobby knows that ignoring the voices won’t make them go away, but she can’t figure out whether she needs to kill the baba or give it some nice sugary tea.
This one woman show is a deliciously, dark tale about dysfunction, co-dependency and dealing with your dark side.
