Artist collective Super Paua were delighted and relieved to hear that our jobs are pretty safe from robots, according to recent scientific evidence. But then we wondered- why?
What is it about the human mind’s problem-solving ability, it’s flexible and funny and absurd way of doing things, that cannot be automated?
Join Super Paua for a two-hour workshop where we explore the science that underpins theatre- from light waves to chord progressions, colour theory to character psychology- and the creative thinking that underpines modern science. Professional theatre-makers Sian Ni Mhuiri and Mark Ball will lead your class through an interactive , fun workshop that encourages a growth mindset in young people , and challenges the idea that artists are all that different from scientists and technicians.
