As a result of Covid-19 we know your students may not have had the chance to visit our theatre in the past year. Riverbank Arts Centre and Watergate Theatre has joined with Verdant Productions to offer an online version of The Stories of Hans Christian Andersen – a musical adaptation of the life and stories of the world’s greatest storyteller.

Your students will enjoy classic tales such as ‘Thumbelina’, ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’, ‘The Ugly Duckling’, ‘The Little Mermaid’ and many more, in a fantastic one-hour journey made for all ages to enjoy.

The production comes with activity sheets which will cover a number of different curricular areas including: SPHE, performance, listening and responding and literacy to name a few. Activities are suitable for children aged 5-12 and can be adapted accordingly.
