Riverbank Arts Centre is currently seeking applications for the role of Technical Manager
The Technical Manager will report to the Venue Director and is responsible for providing technical support to all visiting companies, artists, groups and individuals in the presentation of the artistic programme at Riverbank Arts Centre.
Experience in a technical theatre environment is essential and experience in a Visual Arts environment is beneficial.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Technical Manager is a key member of the Riverbank team and is responsible for the smooth and effective operation of the centre’s events and as well as overseeing maintenance of the general building facilities of Riverbank Arts Centre. The Technical Manager will be required to work evenings and weekends as standard when Covid-19 restrictions lift and events programming resumes fully. This is a skilled management role within a busy team, requiring team and departmental supervision and close working with colleagues in FOH, Marketing, Artistic Programming and in-house productions as well as external liaison with our programme partners and service providers.
