This is a project designed to showcase the enormous value and contribution of people to our community who were not born and raised here. It is a piece about migration, about leaving home as an adult and trying to make your life in a new community.

The show has been devised and directed by theatre maker Oğuzhan Şahin along with the collaboration of international and migrant artists working with Crooked House. Through shared stories, images and videos of places far from Ireland, sounds and sensations from different lands, movement and speech, the performance aims to inspire tolerance of others, understanding of difference, and appreciation of the work and contribution to our community of the people who have come here and who now call Newbridge ‘home’.
