Filmore! Interactive Installation

€10 – €15THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL EARLY 2024
Filmore! is a transmedia experience consisting of an interactive installation, live performance and online spaces both apparent and otherwise. It tells the story of fictional school Safety Patrol officer Maximus C. Filmore. As to what that story is about it’s up to you to decide. You’ll be asked to revisit a past that never really existed as you try to uncover what happened to Filmore and why? It’s a murder mystery meets scavenger hunt across digital and physical spaces.
Like all good classic mysteries Filmore! is as much about the story as it is about the people investigating it. In this fabricated world of music, social media, video, interactive sets and live performances, the question is what can it tell us about ourselves? What truth can be found in the lies? Where does it all connect? Filmore! deals with the complexities of youth, school, and nostalgia and asks us to recall an absurd past through the bizarre lens of memory.
School Safety Patrol Officer Maximus C. Filmore leads us on a scavenger hunt, unlocking and uncovering forgotten memories as you re-visit a past that may never have existed. What is the real story? You can investigate at the exhibition and come together to decide at the live gig.
Filmore! is the moniker of Irish singer, songwriter, rapper and visual artist Max Zanga, leaning into the absurdity of the world today with a strong focus on power and violence using immersive storytelling throughout his music.
Filmore! is a 2-part experience – Click here for the live music performance info.
