An introduction into comic making for new comic artists!

Encouraging kids to write is no easy feat but comics are one of the best mediums for storytelling. In this 90 minute workshop they will learn about the key basics on how to create their own comic strip! From page layouts and panels, speech bubbles and dialogue and more!

Artist Bio:
Kate Escolin is a freelance illustrator and arts facilitator. Her work can be identified by its bright and fun colour palette paired with friendly characters and bold line art. She is also the host of Sketchbook Club, DIY Life Drawing and an organiser for the Dublin Comic Arts Festival. Her previous clients include The Ark Dublin, VodafoneX, Dublin Inquirer, Jigsaw National Centre for Youth Mental Health and much more!
