Sarah writes for both children and adults. Her Ask Amy Green series has been shortlisted for the Queen of Teen Awards in the UK and the Irish Book Awards. Book three in her new Songbird Cafe Girls series: Aurora and the Popcorn Dolphin, has recently been published.

Sarah is an experienced writing teacher and is an active member of the Irish Writers in Schools scheme. She teaches at the Irish Writers Centre and is the Children’s Curator of the Mountains to Sea Book Festival.
