Newbridge Drama Group presents a night of one act plays featuring Dead Men’s Bells by Méabh de Brún and The End of the Beginning by Seán O’Casey.

Dead Men’s Bells, directed by Carol Duffy, is a play about family secrets which cannot be hidden without the well-constructed veneer of normality.

The End of the Beginning, directed by Sharon Coyle, follows the story of Darry and his wife Lizzie who have an argument about whether men’s or women’s work is more difficult. They swap roles for the day which results in hilarious mishaps as utter chaos ensues!
