Princesses can be Pirates is an energetic dance performance for children which explores gender and playfully questions what is considered ‘typical’ behaviour for girls and boys.
Brave or foolhardy, two dancers join forces and travel to unknown territories. In a series of hilarious scrapes and lively escapades, they swap toys, costumes and activities – defying stereotypes in this dynamic and witty performance.
Created by choreographer and performer, Monica Munoz, Princess Can Be Pirates is an enjoyable and gently provocative show for all the family.
