STEPPING THE LAND
Saturday 11th May, 2024 - 18:00
free event, advanced booking onlyCo-directed by Choreographer Philippa Donnellan and Theatre Artist Ruth Lehane
A culmination to Philippa’s Kildare Dance Residency 2023 – 2024, this fresh mud-and-wellies dance theatre performance digs into our fragile connection to the natural world. Created with members of the local community and performed on a farm in south Kildare, it is a glimpse into stories of the land and habitats living and lost. A performance that dances both indoors and out, STEPPING THE LAND brings our feet back to earth with a flourish.
This Kildare Dance Artist in Residence 2023-24 is developed in partnership with Kildare County Council Arts Service and Riverbank Arts Centre and funded by the Arts Council/DAR Award.
Tickets on sale Wednesday 10th April at 10am.
