Discover the magic of words and illustrations with beloved children’s writer Lucinda Jacob as she presents the book behind the exhibition, I Am the Wind: Irish Poems for Children Everywhere. This interactive talk will take you on a journey through the whimsical world of poetry and illustration, exploring how nature, imagination, and creativity come together to tell stories. This talk will feature a video recorded by exhibition illustrator Ashwin Chacko which will feature a time-lapse of the exhibition pieces being created!

About Lucinda Jacob
Lucinda Jacob is a poet, illustrator and author of fiction for young people. She has written and illustrated a number of picture books and storybooks for new readers, scripts for the national broadcaster RTÉ and poetry for older children, published in numerous collections. Some of her publications include Hopscotch in the Sky (Little Island, illus. Lauren O’Neill), Climate SOS! and Guzzler’s Party (Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland, illus. by Alan Nolan).
