This workshop explores creating fictional character who travel backwards and forwards in time. Think of Back to the Future, Doctor Who and Hermione using the Time Turner in Harry Potter!
The workshop covers key skills: character creation, opening the story, setting the scene and plot.
Writers will return home with the beginnings of (and in some cases complete) story, written entirely by themselves, set in the present, past and future!
Megan is a writer and fully qualified teacher. Her first novel The House on Hawthorn Road (for readers age 9+) is published by The O’Brien Press. It’s about two children, from different centuries, who time travel through the walls of a magical house in Dublin.
Megan has run a successful creative writing school in Dublin since 2007. It aims to inspire and build confidence in children.
