Stop Motion Animation – workshop & some great short animations
We are delighted to be working with Kildare artist Michelle McBride to present Stop Motion Animation workshops for young people aged 11-13 years.
Using story boarding, set and character design and open source software, participants will create a short stop motion animation about what the future might look like as a result of natural and man made climate change.
Outline of workshop
Day 1 – Story Boarding
Day 2 – Making a scene/set
Day 3 – Making characters & props
Day 4 – Animating your story
Day 5 – Editing, adding sound and completing project
Suitable for 11-13 year olds, these five workshops will take place on ZOOM, 10:30am-11:30am over the course of a week (20-25 July). For more information the workshop, see this link.
